:: Background information
The Flowmotion Dance Company was launched in 2009 by director and dancer Florian Berger. They are working in the field of dance, acrobatic and juggling and develop their own unique performances and shows. They are creating customized business shows for incentive events or trade shows, as well as theatre performances.
One of their commercial figureheads is the Flowmotion shadow show. Dancers and acrobats use their bodies to form shadow images of objects like a crane, a driving car or a pyramid, telling a story in this way.
:: idea / Task / content
MOTIONLAB was assigned to develop the visual content for the shadow shows to bring them onto a higher level. The imagery should support the shadow images, complete the scenery and increase the dynamic of the show. When the actors become an unit with the visuals and the sound you can create these magic moments which make you smile…

The show can be full or to some extent customized and aligned to the needs of the client and his/her brand. Shows can be booked in several durations and can be delivered complete hardware equipped.

This is how it works: The actor stands behind the visual screen and creates a shadow. The visual and the sound then complete the scenery, thus creating this unique experience.
